TikTok Live Downloader — captured as MP4
Most “TikTok downloaders” only grab normal videos — they can't touch a LIVE, because TikTok deletes the broadcast the moment it ends. RecTok works differently: it records the live stream while it's happening and delivers the captured video to your Telegram chat as an MP4. Best available source, no added watermark, no screen recording.
Download a TikTok live in 3 steps
- 1Open the RecTok bot
Search @RecTok_Bot on Telegram and press Start. No app to install, no TikTok login, no watermarked screen recordings.
- 2Send /rec with the username
Type
/rec usernamewhile the creator is live. RecTok connects to the available public source and captures the best stream it can access — even if you close Telegram. - 3Download your MP4
When the live ends (or you send
/stop), the successfully captured video lands in your Telegram chat as an MP4.
The stream already ended — can I still download it?
Honest answer: not from TikTok. Once a LIVE ends, TikTok removes it — there is nothing left for any downloader to fetch. Two ways RecTok fixes this for good: browse the public RecTok library to see if the stream was already recorded by someone else, and add the creator to your watchlist with /watch username so recording can start automatically when a future public live is detected — even while you sleep.
Why not just screen-record?
Screen recording ties up your phone for the whole stream, drains the battery, captures notifications and chat overlays, and stops the moment your screen locks. RecTok records server-side: you send one command and receive the portion successfully captured from the available source as an MP4.
