Content removal and opt-out

If you are a TikTok creator, you control whether your streams appear on RecTok. You can have any recording removed, and you can opt out of being recorded in the future.

1. Remove a specific recording

To have a recording taken down from the public library, email [email protected] with:
  • the link(s) to the recording(s) you want removed, or your TikTok @username, and
  • a short confirmation that you are the creator (or represent them).
We process valid requests promptly — typically within 72 hours — and remove the recording and its thumbnail from the library.

2. Opt out of future recordings

If you would prefer your live streams not be recorded at all, let us know at [email protected] and we will take reasonable steps to exclude your account from future recording. An opt-out applies going forward and does not require a separate takedown for each stream.

3. Verifying your request

To protect creators from bad-faith requests by third parties, we may ask for a simple confirmation that you control the TikTok account in question before actioning an opt-out. We only use this information to verify the request.

4. Copyright claims

RecTok does not claim ownership of any recorded content — it remains the property of the respective creators. If you believe content infringes your copyright, contact [email protected] with the details and we will respond in line with applicable law.
