About
About RecTok
RecTok is a free tool for recording TikTok live streams — built as a Telegram bot, with a public web library of past recordings.
What RecTok is
RecTok records TikTok live streams so you never miss one. You add a creator to a watchlist in the Telegram bot, and RecTok automatically records every live they do and sends the finished MP4 straight to your chat. Past recordings are kept in a browsable public library, and you can explore the creators people recordat any time. It's free to use, with an optional Premium tier.
How it works
Unlike screen recording, RecTok does the work in the cloud — nothing runs on your phone. Our servers monitor the creators on your watchlist and, the moment one goes live, begin capturing the stream at source quality. When the live ends, the recording is processed into a standard MP4 and delivered to you through Telegram. Because it runs on a server, it keeps recording even when your device is off, and it works the same on iPhone, Android and desktop.
Who's behind RecTok
RecTok is an independent project, built and maintained by a small team that works on Telegram tools. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to TikTok or ByteDance. You can reach the team any time at [email protected] or through the Telegram bot.
How we handle creators' content
Recordings are of public TikTok live streams and remain the content of the respective creators — RecTok claims no ownership over them. We take creators' wishes seriously: if you are a creator and want a recording removed, or you would prefer your streams not be recorded at all, see our content removal and opt-out page. We aim to handle every request promptly.
